The American history cartoon series,
Sons of LibertyTM has twice been awarded the George Washington Honor Medal from Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge, Pennsylvania.
The creator of the series, Richard Lynn is a member of both the National Cartoonists Society, and the Southern California Cartoonists Society.
He has drawn editorial cartoons for Twin Circle, illustrated short stories and articles for juvenile and religious publications of the major Catholic and Protestant publishers; and comic books, including The Space GiantsTM (FBN Pub.) and covers for Charles A. Wagner's Cecil Kunkle.(R)
Lynn's book illustrations include Down Memory Lane with Dad, Mom, and Four and One Half Dozen Kids by Earl Guingrich. Lynn also contributed to the cartoon book Comic Relief (published by Henry Holt & Co., NY, NY) and his illustration of Statue of Liberty creator Frederic Auguste Bartholdi was published in LIFE magazine..
